Data Deletion Request

Lauren G Adams respects your right to control your personal information. This page explains how to request deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and what happens after you ask.

How to request deletion

Email Marketing@laurengadams.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request.

So we can find your records and confirm the request is genuinely yours, please include:

The full name on the account or order
The email address and, if different, the email used at checkout
Any order number(s) you have
If you signed up through Facebook or Instagram, tell us — those records are stored separately

You can also write to us at the postal address below, or call us during business hours.

What happens next

We confirm receipt of your request.
We verify your identity. This protects you — it stops someone else deleting your data.
We delete the personal data we are able to delete, and tell you when it is done.

We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. If a request is complex and we need longer, we will tell you before that deadline and explain why.

What gets deleted

On a verified request we remove personal information such as your customer account, contact details, marketing subscriptions, saved addresses, and any support correspondence.

What we may keep, and why

Some records cannot be deleted on request. We may retain:

Transaction and tax records — we are legally required to keep records of completed orders and payments for accounting and tax purposes.
Fraud, security and dispute records — where needed to protect against fraud or to resolve a chargeback or legal claim.

Where we keep records for these reasons, we keep only what is necessary and we stop using it for marketing.

Third parties

Some of your information may also sit with the services that help us run our store — for example our ecommerce platform, payment processor, shipping carriers, and advertising or analytics providers. When you ask us to delete your data, we pass the request on to those providers where we are able to. You may also contact them directly.

Marketing only

If you simply want to stop hearing from us rather than delete everything, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email, or reply STOP to a text message. That takes effect without a full deletion request.
