We still paint jewelry
the old way — by hand,
one piece at a time.

For nearly thirty years, every Lauren G Adams piece has begun the same way: raw glass and pigment, blended by eye and brushed on by hand, then fired in a kiln until the color turns to glass. No two are ever exactly alike. That is the whole point.

The Founder

A Montreal girl
who loved color.

Orly Ovadia was born and raised in Montreal, where a love of fashion and artistic design took hold early. She founded Lauren G Adams after studying the craft of jewelry manufacturing in Providence, Rhode Island — convinced that women deserved more color, more character, and more choice than the fashion aisle was offering.

In 1998 she began painting enamel by hand. She has painted every collection since — the daisy, the swirl, the horse bit, the beads — sketchbook to brush to kiln.
